That's nice 💝
Big OOPS by the Flames in letting Marty and Brett Hull go
It Looks like JT and Nylander aren’t the main weakness why the Leafs core 4 have been just playoff disappointments. At least after getting $77 Million – JT did get one round 1 – playoff game winning goal. So good on him for that. The main issue the Leafs need to resolve is – provided they really do want Leaf team playoff success – then the best way for Leafs to move forward is either 1) trade Matthews & keep Marner or 2) keep Mathews and trade Marner. These two players just are too much of nice guys – to play well together and succeed in the playoffs.
Think how well Mitch would do playing with say Bobby Clarke rather that Auston?
Time to face the music – trade one of these two Toronto favourites & start winning some Leaf playoff rounds again – like back in the 1960’s.
No offense brother, but it really looks like you’ve been smoking weed before you did this.
I'm not interested if I can't skip to my favorite, usually at the end
Flames always been a Mickey Mouse organization
Read an article on the athletic, they tracked 27 players who had arbitration cases from 2010. Something like 21 or 23 of those players left the team in 3 years or less.
10:24 here's my issue the ducks are under the floor. They're not near the cap or over the cap like other teams they are under the cap floor. They are literally required to spend this money. They need to stop playing games, pay their players, and finish filling out their roster. This is ridiculous.
Thanks for another informative video, much appreciated.
So is Zegras waiting for Terry’s ruling?
They pretty much have the same numbers.
… Ho-Sang, I completely forgot about that guy
Thanks for updates 🏒
and Doug "the killer" Gilmour but he was traded for Leeman. A steal of a deal with for Cliff Fleatcher.
Pretty good signing by the Wild. Will be interesting to see what Swayman is awarded. If I recall, Flames wanted Hull to lose some weight, and work on his skating, but he balked at both requests. Maybe it was a factor in him getting traded to St. Louis.
Still a lot of UFA's out there, heading into August. Lot of players wondering if they'll have an NHL job for next season. Has to be stressful on these guys and their families, not knowing what the future holds. Yeah, they make incredible money, but doesn't make it any easier, especially for players whose careers maybe be over.
It's a bit disingenuous to say the Flames gave up on Brett Hull, they traded him for two veterans at the trade deadline when they were trying to win a cup (which they actually did do the next year). Was it a bad trade? Absolutely. Did they "give up" on him? Definitely not in the same way that they gave up on St. Louis at least, that's for sure
