Super interesting article imo. I love articles like this that go into the statistics to make a case. Overall, this makes the case fears that we will regress seem somewhat exaggerated, and the team is in a good position to maintain our scoring ability.

This was a fun read. Seems like the highest potential to see a drop off is from our 4th line but I wonder if our 4th line having a higher shooting percentage is related to our system. Meaning, could Yamamoto see a bump in shooting percentage this season because he is playing on the Kraken’s 4th line. Not sure how you can or would look into it but this whole article is a great exploratory analysis.

I don’t think they will regress too much. Burakovsky will be back and we have exciting players like Kartye who came out of nowhere and Tolvanen who just blossomed with us. I also believe Dunn will continue to shine.
