  1. Detroit will be nowhere near close to adding him. Have to focus for another group of centers in the middle of the first round.
McGroarty, Ostlund, Mesar, Lekkerimaki, Jack D. Hughes, Kasper, and Fimis will all be in consideration.

  2. Let's make a prediction then, he will have immediate impact with Hawks but will be wasted with Coyotes or Canadiens. He reminds me of Stamkos that has the ability to score from almost anywhere but need some elite wings to help his game to next level.

  3. At this point there is a good chance that we might get screwed in the lottery while hoping to get him.

  4. Man. A lot of guys are overhyped. But I think Wright is CLOSER to the elite prospects without being exactly on that level, than any player since Matthews. I think players like Laf were WAY overhyped and were never the "can't miss" or "generational talents" they were touted as. And while Wright isn't quite those things either, he's as close as you can get without being on that tier. As a Ranger fan, I would trade Laf or Kakko for Wright, right now, in a split second. No second thoughts. I reminds me of John Toews but with slightly higher offensive potential.

I also think Bedard is near that level. And I think Wright and then Bedard, are the two best prospects since Matthews came out. Yes, I rate them higher than Lafreniere prior to the draft, who was one of the biggest examples of overhype and over-expectations. But Wright, while still probably a bit overhyped, I think is more actually deserving of those praises. At least there aren't as many real concerns about Wright as there was for Laf, which people ignored. Things like Laf being slow, not the best skater and being bigger than most teens his age while he was producing those great stats.

But Wright, really could work himself up to that elite level because he's actually close enough to get there. Man, whatever team lands him is getting an amazing, likely franchise 1C. And then the year after, 2023 draft, Bedard should follow in Wrights footsteps. Genuinely think both Wright and Bedard are the two best prospects since AM, McDavid etc… Just not quite on their level.

  5. I cant see matthews or stammer… but he reminds me alot of john tavares… thoughts?

  6. If my team tanked to get a player no matter how great he was it would be the last time I cheered for them no matter how bad they are if they tried I m good with it

  7. To think the Habs could have a powerplay unit of Caufield, Suzuki and Wright. Talk about a goalies nightmare. Embrace the tank 🤣

  8. I want a dangler ever sens I was young Jagr was my favorite player, I like zegras, I like Mattei mitkov of wtv his name is right now if the players haven't ever done the Michigan I couldn't be bothered however Wright seems like he will be a decent player I say top 6 not elite maybe 20 or 30 goal scorer he doesn't seem that fast
