  1. Kinda tame compared to the doomsday stuff earlier. The Flyers are 1st in the East after 29 games. How many more games do the naysayers need before they realize how good this team is? I'm not saying they're the best — Boston probably is — but they're up there, and only a clown is going to say "they might not make the playoffs". Yeah, 'might not' in the strictest sense but in hockey sense, it's idiotic to say.

  2. @braininahat I agree completely with you, there is so many Flyers haters. aslo i think the trades made the flyers a better team and i think Richards was just a cancer to the team later on.

  3. @rocketfan88 Oh, yes, Flyers haters. Some hate cuz they cling to the "Broad Street Bullies" stereotype. Some cuz we dominated the Russians while they're teams got owned. Some cuz the Flyers are consistently good, so we beat their teams. In the last 8 seasons, nobody in the East has been as consistently good as the Flyers. We missed the playoffs once. And our fans show up to the arena — every year. Richards was my favorite Flyer. I wish him well.

  4. @lukehasstorys Yeah, I didn't mean my favorite Flyer of all time. I meant my favorite Flyer from last year's team.

  5. @GBear1025 hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha………………..omg who let this moron talk? dumb shit

  6. I agree with most of the things that are being said about Simmonds here. He's one of those guys that Lavy can just point in the right direction (usually) and launch. The dude obviously came to Philly to play. I imagine he's a pain in the ass to have to play against.

  7. i honestly wouldnt say he "whooped" his ass. Punches that landed were in favor of Clarkson and Simmonds managed to land a few. His punches didn't really cause Clarkson to fall down. It was a loss of balance on Clarkson's part. Simmonds is a good player though. People throw around the phrase "kicked his ass" wayy too much in a fight that was pretty equal or one guy losing his balance and the other guy falling on top of him.

  8. in all honesty, almost every team in the Atlantic makes the playoffs every year…besides the shitastic Islanders….we won't even mention them. I give the other teams credit for consistently being in the playoffs. I won't say the Flyers are the best due to the lack of Cups won…but they sure as hell are a good team

  9. haha oh damn you're on the team? "we're going" LOL! well good luck being in the nhl ya loser

  10. @hockeyfightsdotcom sorry was being über sarcastic while commenting on @TheGlassBro 's douchey racist comment. I definitely wasn't trying to be PC

  11. the flyers are by far the most winningest tho since they joined, they arein the top 3 or hav the recor for nealy evey team category asid from cups

and the flyers hav made 8 cup finals and hav made the eastern conference finals more than anyone i believe since they joined the league

if the flyers just won 2 more cups they would be paired with the red wings as they most successful franchises after montreal, i mean they hav made the playoffs 36 of their 44 years and 16f the last 17

  12. so i wouldnt say every team in the atlantic makes the playoffs every year, the flyers hav pretty much but the the other atlantic teams dont even come close to the amount the flyers do, 16 of the last 17 years! and 36 of the 44 years since they joined the league as an expansion team
