Primary assist on a cross-ice pass through traffic to Ivan Demidov on the 1st goal. Second goal was his. He fed a nice pass to the slot from behind the net then swung around and put in the rebound on a bouncing puck.
I never had Michkov playing Center long term as being even somewhat possible, but if that ends up being a thing he can do that would be incredible

We’re so lucky he fell to us. It’s kind of crazy how almost every scouting outlet is calling him a generational player, best Russian player since Ovechkin – clear #1 overall pick talent in most drafts. It’s gotta be some sort of good karma from letting Fletcher go. The universe liked that move as much as we did.

I like him playing center. Right now we are relying entirely on Gauthier to be the savior 1C and its far from a lock he even plays center in NHL. Michkov playing there would give us another possible option at C.
