1st round and 2nd round draft picks are supposed to be starters, that's why they got drafted high and get paid more.
Ain't this fun, talking about great DEFENSIVE players?!?! I always felt that Campbell and Branch would shine at some point, but not this early. The guy I'm geeked about is Brodric Martin. If he is showing well against the 1's consistently- and our O line 1's are special – then Brad has pulled off the defensive equivalent of drafting St. Brown. I'm not going there yet. Let's see the young man in real games. If he can be disruptive enough to tie up two offensive linemen, our defensive ends will cause havoc. That means our improved secondary needs to cover for less time. I am so freaking stoked to watch this defense! One Pride! Go Lions!

I had never heard of Broderic Martin until he was drafted. When I saw his physical stats I was intrigued. If this young man could be coached up on his technique he was everything the Lions needed at DT. Turns out he was closer to ready than anybody thought. This guy is going to be a monster. Other teams are going to have to double him. That is going to make Hutch and Houston absolutely dominant as pass rushers. Broderic Martin, h**l yeah!!!!

Last year all the talking heads were trying to say the team was awesome because Dan Campbell talked about butt holes on TV.

Off subject, but why are Lions fans so afraid of KC automatically giving them the win? Understand we have so many players with chips on their shoulders like st Brown, Mims, Branch, CJ GJ, Montgomery, etc..We have really good veterans, and young hungry talents on both sides of the team! We didnāt fear the eagles, the Bills, nor the Dolphins, and we rolled over playoff teams like the Giants, the Vikings, and the Jaguars with way less ammunition than we have now! Go Lionsš¦
Martin is the new guy every time he farts it's going to make news. Levi will be the guy there is a reason levie was taken in the second round by Brad Holmes and Martin was taken in the 4th

I have a feeling that Campbell will be like Hutch but a LB.
We have a great thing thatās developing. These players can become great players. The problem is when we have to pay these players in 3 to 5 years. Who do we keep and who do we allow to go through FA. Hopefully they will want to work with Brad Holmes and stay a Lion š

Im sure Broderick is going to be great but AG is right, if you want to see what they can do, put them out there. If corse they are getting time with the ones, there are going to be times they will have to play with the ones and you got to see what they can do against and with your top players its great they are getting time with the ones but dont put. As long as he continues to stand STRAIGHT UP at every snap, the only team he's gonna be a problem for is ours (until we cut him from the practice squad shortly after the start of the season).
