  1. Honestly management changes mean nothing to me at this point. We need Selke/ Norris/Vezina energy to push through and win a Cup. We can worry about the future later.

  2. Edmonton keeps being made fun of but there very close to winning a cup this past season was a little bit of a set back but don’t be surprised when they win the cup in the next 2 years or so here

  3. McDavid will win just not in that city. You all are saying that it’s barely been said that they are this close .. you all have been singing the same song since 2017 f@@k off

  4. Bob needed to be gone a long time ago. But in getting Jeff Jackson, the Oilers hit a monster home run. Every team in the league would have been wanting him.

  5. I was thrown by the announcement of our new CEO, but when I found out it was McDavid agent, I soon realized that this may be the best way to ensure Connor stays with the Oilers long term.
    It was early anxiety relief!
Much respect for your takes on other teams.

  6. You’re a beauty JH. It’s ok. I won’t tell any flames fans that you secretly cheer for the Oilers 😉

  7. Legit net minder, stronger D, a few fast & gritty bottom six skaters…Hmm. I hope they don’t keep wasting seasons with CM. Oilers needs similar to Penguins with an older yet still viable Crosby. Stronger D, questionable bottom, six and goaltending.???

  8. I guess this is why Bob Stauffer recently commented on it being likely that McDavid re-signs long-term in Edmonton. Of course, nothings a given, but hopefully McDavid does.

  9. I've been an Oilers fan ever since their cup run in '06. (RIP Rolloson).

Any positive change is always a welcomed sight!

As unlikely as it is, I'd love to see Leafs vs Oilers in the Stanley Cup finals!

  10. The Oilers owner knows how to treat his superstars, unlike alot of other owners in other sports who just don't seem to care.
