I thought the issue was the law capped how much these companies could bill the insurance providers.
For example, an aid makes $25/hour but the insurance company can only be billed like $30/hour. (I’m just throwing out made-up numbers). So the companies need to find cheaper help (ie: less competent) or just have fewer employees so they cannot help everyone.

Good for Vladdy (and everyone else pre-2019) but
>But under the 2019 overhaul – passed by the Republican-led legislature and signed into law by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer – a provision of the law capped reimbursements to 55% of what providers were charging for services not covered by Medicare in January 2019.
Our healthcare system is a scam.

We were waiting for this decision, and pretty much expecting it. Many of my guys look up to Vladdy. And it’s good they’ll be able to keep getting the care and programs they need. I work with TBI survivors in Warren. It’s a tough road.

You mean insurance companies can’t retroactively change agreements because myopic paid off politicians changed a law in order to protect even more of the profits of one the most profitable industries in the world?
Flippin’ criminal it even was brought to court in the first place.

That will hopefully be as political as I get in this sub, but man…insurance companies…amiright?
