Hockey IQ through the roof and reports out of the world junior camp are suggesting that his skating has already improved (the biggest determinant of how successful he'll be transitioning to the NHL). I think the defensive worries about his game are a bit overblown, that describes most prospects … but he has the HIQ to improve that aspect of his game). He may need just a little more time than Leonard and Smith but he'll be worth the wait. If he were bigger, he would have been drafted Top 10 like his teammates. He's not a passenger or a line driver, but a potentially fantastic complimentary Top 6 (or 3) player.
