It is criminal of the Raiders to not make Jacobs the highest paid RB in the NFL. But the answer for Jacobs is not to go to the criminal Chiefs organization which won't even pay Mahomes what he deserves. He needs to find a team, and only that team, which will make him the highest paid RB in history.

2. Has barely missed games

This is very Simple, its Not Right – its the way it is. Stay home – Don't Play= Don't get Payed 10 Million this Year. Now your Career is already almost over, Will you ever be in the NFL Again- ? Will you ever Make 10 Million again, in any other Job on Earth ? NOW Decide ! Period.

Forget emotion. Forget ethics. Get real. Whose going to overpay an assest when you have collectively negotiated options to run through a position for x years with tag options thereafter. This is a business, not a charity. To normal mortals, its stupid money to carry pigskin. One can argue the ethics of this but reality is most teams know the player is replaceable and analytics support that. He's got no options if the organisation stick to their guns. The player loses here, simple. He does not get to move on, gets older by season and loses match sharpness etc (aka Bell). Not saying its 'right', but it is what it is.

Can we circle back a couple years when he was solid all through training camp and as soon as the season started he had "Turf Toe" all of a sudden? This is a common tactic all RB's use. They usually go with hamstrings, back spasms or turf toe in the meat of their contracts then on the contract year they ball out to up their stock. That kind of behavior backfired over the years on RB's. Not saying they all do it. But this is a common practice. My remedy would be to stipulate in the contract that they are liable for 'X' amount of played games vs seasons. The B.S. would stop (on both ends, teams and players)
