This next couple years is going to be INSANE to watch.. They're going to make a mockery of goalies. I feel for anybody who are parents of a goaltender because their sports psychologist is going to be making BANK.. That's gotta be a hell of a position to play knowing you're likely to get SHELLED before the drop of the puck. And pray for rest of the NHL that Edmonton nor Toronto have a hiccup within the next 2 years and land another exceptional superstar.. Or New York Rangers or New Jersey Devils.. It hurts, at times, being a Red Wings fan, but there is hope. PLEASE hockey gods, forget we exist this year.. But we'll need ya for the draft classes of 2022 or 2023. Either or, we don't care. I find so much happiness envisioning Raymond, Wright/Bedard, Zadina on a potential line, uhh look out, league.. We'd love to see another 25 year run of dominance. But in today's NHL it is unlikely cause, ya… That whole "luck" thingy. Being an underwhelming team has become more and more taxing after Lidstrom retired after 2012. We (Kenny Holland) should've seen the writing on the wall before start of 2015-2016 (Red Wings Changing of the Guard Season; Larkin's rookie year) when Pavel said he's going home. We missed out on at least 5-8 years of acquiring INCREDIBLE talent throughout those draft classes after 2012… But despite being years behind schedule, we're now on a defined path, and In Stevie Y, we trust.🐙
Congrats team Canada🇨🇦, you have something EXTREMELY special going for your hockey program, enjoy it, you deserve it. And team Russia🇷🇺, congrats for weathering the harder road to the gold medal game. Despite falling short, it's something to really be proud of, given the amount of time these players have played competitively this past year or two. All the medal round teams have each accomplished so much, and cannot be overlooked. All these programs build exceptionally talented teams who churn out NHL stars like it's their jobs or something.😝 Hockey is the BEST sport to follow. Thank you hockey! The future is so bright😎.👍🏼
Shane Wright will be a sen or coyote this draft. Both Franchises need a saviour. Wright will be a Top 6 forsure and will give either fan base more butts in the stands when the pandemic over.
