Dach and Caufield could make a dynamic duo.

I have no problem splitting Suzuki and Caufield
Suzuki and RHP are naturals together. I've been thinking exactly that RHP-Suzuki and Caufield-Dach
Rather than splitting Suzuki and Caulfield, who have a proven record together , why not focus on who works best with Dach like Newhook. If Suzuki and Caulfield don’t have a good start, then experiment…but let’s not reinvent the wheel..if a duo works, keep it going.
how many games did caufield suzuki and rhp play last year ,give it a chance , and dock newhook and slav, dock is a great playmaker himself .
They scored 38 at 5v5 and 14(7 each) of their 52 goals on the PP. I don't know why most people just assume they do most of their stuff on the PP when our PP suck massive dicks lol
The reason why Suzuki and Caufield had better stats when Dach was in the trio was not because Dach is a better match for Caufield. It is because Dach was simply the best player available to complement the first duo. I think that the Habs, in the short term still lack a dominant forward to complement Caufield and Suzuki. Normally, Dach should be leading the second trio. Next year we will have the same problem and it will be the same until we have a fully developed Slafkovski or someone else that will be skilled enough to make a difference. Joshua Roy, Beck, Mesar, and the likes are too young.. our only chance is that RHP elevates his game enough to move into the top six or top three.. I think Newhook on the first trio is stretching it a bit but he could prove us wrong

Dont worry, I know the type of guy MSL is. Even in his sleep he's planing thousands of scenarios and combinations. We might see new duos we never considered popping off
DACH Being one of the best forward in his zone would help caufield get better

Wow! Habs fans always like to stretch what our team can actually do, but that's a big comparison. lol. VERY BIG. I dont even know what else to say, i dont want to be rude, so ill just leave it at that. 🙂
I'd like to see them separate Suzuki and Caufield just to prove a point.
Keep in mind there is still 3 years for that core to learn and grow they are still boys…in 26-27 only Suzuki will be over 25… he'll be 26 years old, reinbacher will be 22. That's also the last year of gally's and Anderson's contract. And price's contract will be done… imo the next three seasons are growing pains and I hope we draft high… 3 other years of rebuild
If Dach Centered for Caufield they wouldn't win possessions from faceoffs . Dach is also not great on defense and this would be a huge liability. Suzuki is a much safer choice and in the end will give Caufield more looks at the net. If you're interested in a glass cannon approach then I think Caufield | Dach | Newhook would be much better.
