Heidt might be the most underrated prospect of his draft class, he is posting up close to 2 ppg in the WHL and has been an all-around great player to watch. His hands and vision are clearly his best attribute. To add with that a smooth skating style and precise shots.

I hope Montreal picks him up with that Florida pick if it doesn't jump too high. Am I crazy for thinking he's debatably the 2nd best skater in the draft? I'm mostly looking at his edges when I say that but I feel like Fantilli and Benson could maybe match his skating. His IQ and his vision are just crazy to me.
Honestly Chevy doesn’t take too many Canadians with his first round picks but could definitely see him going 18 to wpg. I think he projects to be a very good 2C. Him and Lucius 1/2 centres with Lambert? Chibrikov, Mcgroaty and Perfetti as future top 6 wingers.
