Just under four years ago Shane Wright, Matthew Savoie and Ivan Miroshnichenko all took part in the 2016 WSI tournament in Bolzano, Italy. It was a small glimpse of what was to come for arguably the best players in the 2004 class. Savoie led the entire tournament with 28 points in 9 games, Miroschnichenko led the tournament in goals with 20 finishing with 27 points overall while Wright’s Pro Hockey team won the event thanks to his 20 points in 9 games.

What about the other kid
Who went and scored those shootout goals fivehole
These kids are huge for 12 year olds
These are kids are lucky! They had the size and the skill! They were basically gods at age 12
and now wright is breaking ohl records while savoie is playing high school hockey and getting literally knocked out cold in the whl as a 4th liner. lol
they can’t shoot very hard though
I remember watching a game from this tournament on YouTube a couple years ago and it was between the draft day selects which was Savoie’s team and the vityaz podolsk selects team that miroshnichenko played on. I remember watching that game and being more impressed with miroshnichenko than with savoie. He just made everything look so effortless and easy. Kind of reminiscent of the way Malkin plays tbh
Savoie got me 6 Stanley Cups in NHL 20 Franchise Mode.
They can be older than their teams!
In Russia it is always
Take finnish best 12year old goalie
The Russian is HUGE. Unless he ends up being 6’6” the competition will catch up to him. The other 2 show great skill and competitiveness!
Miroshnichenko is fantastic
I got scored on 5 times in this video lol. All by Ivan
a big problem i see with wright is he hit puberty at like 2 years old… i mean the guy had a full beard at 15. hes as developed as most 19 or 20 year olds at 17. that could mean his development will slow down dramatically
