    Don’t care if he doesn’t end up being the best player on the habs (I think Dach has a very high upside), I think he’s perfect for the market.

    I just recently heard a reporter on BPM sports radio severely criticize Suzuki and Caufield for not knowing much French and how he felt it was their duty to be taking daily french classes at the linguistic institute of Montreal. As he put it, " When you are the captain of the Canadiens you have to be bilingual! Wake up my Nick! Same for Caufield! " This to me was extremely presumptuous and even condescending. Leave the kid alone. He is learning some French and trying. And then we wonder why not many players want to play for the Habs? The Hab players represent lots of fan bases in all parts of Canada, US and the world and not just the province of Quebec. If they want to learn French then I applaud them but they should never be forced. Good video coach!

    I have been a Suzuki fan since the HABS traded for him…his is the only hockey sweater I own…I think his best is yet to come…hopefully a point a game player. He just has to limit those droughts he goes through each season. I really respect him.

    Glad he's captain -yet so young, it seems disrespectful to veterans.

    I'd want to give a young player more time to focus on their own hockey. It's sort of like a young kid singing the blues.

    But, they are a top revenue franchise-so they know what they're doing
