There needs a clear rule on this. I’ve seen players with broken blades get zero help from officials. What’s the difference between a broken blade or an injury where the player is obviously struggling to get on his feet ?

This seems to be happening a lot more over the past couple years or so. Not the referee helping, but the skate blades snapping loose.
