So glad the O's nipped that in the bud!? As an O's fan I hadn't realize that the Ray's and most of baseball has own us for years. WTF is the front office thinking
So it is Kevin Brown's fault that the Orioles play bad in Tampa. Congrats on the distraction Angelos when the Orioles are having a great season. Kevin Brown offended me with those comments said by no one ever
Lol just a wild guess but i knew the owner had to be a democrat for censoring speech.
"With a personal fortune of millions, huge contributions to state and national Democrats, a tight relationship with top labor leaders and the cachet of his Orioles ownership, Angelos is a potent force in the halls of power. In Annapolis, he employs a former state senator as his personal lobbyist, meets legislators for dinner at his favorite Italian restaurant and, when necessary, brings in Orioles celebrities such as Cal Ripken Jr. to awe lawmakers."
Vote trump 2024 if you tired of AUTHORITARIAN DEMOCRATS
if they are looking for a Hawk Harrelson they are looking in the wrong direction, people are aware that the past few years in Baltimore have been bad: the Angelos should look in the mirror
The information he said was literally listed in that day's games notes prepared by the team's PR staff. He was suspended for info highlighted by the team PR staff itself.
As a Mets fan, that broadcast booth is the best thing about the team. Love that they are allowed to speak truth during a broadcast. You insult the fans when you don't.
As a long time O's fan, I'm absolutely disgusted by what O's ownership is doing to KB. I would hope that someone like Jim Palmer would speak up in defense of KB. If JP doesn't have F' you money he should ar least have an F' you reputation to tell the O's what the rest of us are thinking.
This story is a big part of the reason why I got out of sports media (and media in general) after 15 LONG and grueling years of dealing with no end of the most fragile egos in the world. I was the lead broadcaster/producer for my D-III college athletic department from 2008-2010, and I made a point to not be too much of a 'homer' for my school. If a player on an opposing team made a great play or had a particularly standout game, I gave them proper credit for it. Even back then, the amount of alumni, coaches, players and even trustees who got on me about doing so was mind-boggling. A broadcaster may work for the team, but our job is to call the games and provide context – good, bad, and even ugly at times – over the course of a season. Kevin Brown did nothing wrong here, and I'm glad the O's ownership is getting properly raked over the coals for their knee-jerk pettiness.

Facts only.
Thank you for bringing attention to this
Good Lord….Shame on the Orioles.
another example of wealthy people being out of touch with reality
I’m still waiting for Kevin Brown to say something worthy of a suspension. Orioles getting in the news for no reason.

What in the world? That is the most draconian act I have seen in a long time. The definition of childish!
And I thought Donald Trump had thin skin

The kicker is that he was reading a graphic. If it was off the top of his head or from his notes, they could explain that, but this?
Good clip , this is a just a “ GAME”
You are not being a proper pod person. Not enough buttons. Not enough smiles. You are soooooo FIRED!
I am offended by the dude slaying slouch. Can't say that "s" word.
