  1. Something is coming, l feel ge cant talk about Petry, like oh were are trying to trade him lol would be off.

  2. Exciting roster, a lot of unknowns in the future with having an active GM and a young roster… going to be a great season to watch!

  3. Pitlick needs to play top 6, or 9 max not rott on 4th, Even Evans l think needs to move for a bigger tougher center. Gallagher crashes net always needs to change his gane become a defensive forward that cwn still score 15+, and doesnt get much assists cuz hes always in front of the net which makes them short handed like its 4 vs 5 all the time unless a D man moves forward to help out.

  4. Love Gally and all he’s done in the past but he’s out of gas. He’s declining and you see it in his skating. He is way slower each passing year. I’d love to see him have a decent year for sure but don’t have faith in it happening. I wish they could move him to a contender somehow and give him a chance at a cup before he retires! He deserves that!

  5. Poor management have left many players knowing that several will be shipped off or down to laval becuase there is NO ROOM no matter how well they play. This will extend in to the pre season when all these prospects THINK they are playing for a job however they will have very little chance again no matter how well they play.
I can even point to last year there were several players that played better than Slafkovsky but they did not get a chance while Slafkovsky did.
So management is NOT treating players fair so I wouldn't be surprised if more and more ask for trades there is no fair playing field here in MTL only managements favorites.

  6. Pitlick was not happy with his opportunity last season. Too many Forwards, especially with the breakout of RHP.

  7. The problem with Gally is not a health one, it's an intellect one. I love the guy but let's be honest, at times he can be thick as a brick. The double injury is all on him, wasn't bad luck, wasn't the med staff fault, it's him knowingly coming back to play too soon and way too intensely in a season no one was asking him to rush anything while he knew deep down he wasn't completely fully healed/properly physically rehabilitated for it. He played that ever idiotic tough nut card and ended up getting injured worse. I'm glad he's okay now, but, i sure hope so the new med staff has cinching straps at the ready for when he gets another booboo.

  8. One stat I like to use to determine a players worth is shots on net and Gallagher does get as many as any player on the team. The problem is that if not on the powerplay your shot choices are much lower % of accuracy or chance to score so Gallagher's accy is VERY low around 4-5%.He used to be able to hit 10% which is decent if yo ucan get a lot of shots and hit 10% you are doing well but IDK if he sees much PP time at all anymore so at 4% he is kind of a wasted player.

  9. introducing new player to the team… That's exactly what they did with Newhook. It is for sure a flip for Petry… and perhaps more Allen than DeSmith? But yeah something is up for sure… Why not a trade with our friend Treleving for Nylander? I know it would take more then that but hey, it would be great for the Leafs to have Petry at only 2.34 Millions, they are contenders.

  10. We have to remember that our current HABS management team are all about business.

Modernizing our team and making them competitive.

It's not about emotions but about sound judgement.

We are very fortunate to have Gorton, Hughes, MSL and the rest of our support staff who are contributing to this rebuild.

  11. The absence of mention of Petry and DeSmith on Habs media channels is irregular, but I've also noticed an absence of the Social media thanks for your time post for Hoff. Pitlick got his though.

  12. am i the only one noticing that we releaced hoffman wich was blocking fowards from moving foward with higher role? if petry is here for half a year it may take a place that is awaiting hutson anyways.. if he stays before camp with retained salary.. so much to say not knowing what will happen. be back when more info gets by by camp..
