On August 4, 2023 the new/refurbished train bridge was reopened to the public for active use – cycling, walking, running, etc.

It will forever change active use in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.

    Let’s hope MAMILs don’t ruin it by turning it into Strava segment. Otherwise, it won’t be long before the City is forced to add speed bumps.

    Great video, Gene! Looks like a longer crossing than I would have anticipated. I have not ridden it yet.

    Will take some adjustment since it causes chaos when cyclists are dumped out on the Quebec side. Its now a precarious intersection with a steep and narrow hill at that point.
