Totally ridiculous. OSU brags about how great the Horseshoe is and how much of a landmark it is, when the team that they won’t even say the name of up north, has had multiple outdoor hockey games there.
At this point I don’t care if we are hosting it or not, I will drive to Pittsburgh, Detroit, even Toronto and see the CBJ play outdoors.

Gene Smith hasn’t been a blockade for hockey or a Winter Classic. He’s been a champion pure and simple. He didn’t want to retire until he was able to get the women’s program a new arena. He goes to a lot of their games. He should be celebrated.

The Browns stadium seems to be the best site for an outdoor game because the weather will absolutely be cold enough, the sun will definitely not be shining too brightly, and they’ve already hosted outdoor games there. It’s not gonna happen at OSU and honestly I think it’s better for the team and the fans to have it be outside the city. The point is to grow the game and the fanbase and provide a unique experience for everyone involved. Oh and make money. That’s probably #1.
The only problem is the Haslams are trash human beings and will probably find a way to block it, ruin it, or disgrace it in some other way.

I don’t know why this has to be said for the 10,100th time. The stadium isn’t equipped for sports in a deep freeze
