  1. Dunn is a fantastic signing. Nevermind the points, you can take all of them away and I would still rather take him at 7,35 than Karlsson at 11,5, Nurse at 9,25 or even Carlson at 8. By which I mean, even if Dunn didn't produce a single point, he would still be worth more than the three players I mentioned.

  2. I feel for Krejci a bit. Bergeron got all of the love when the Bruins got eliminated and this offseason (which he rightfully deserves; not taking that away from him), but man if feels like Krejci just got forgotten and left in the wayside. Id argue he was their best playoff performer through out this cores runs (probably would have a conn smythe or two if Boston could have finished off some of those runs where they lost in the finals) and has been so consistently good for so long.

As a Leafs fan, he has been the biggest playoff nightmare we have had in the past decade as well. Constantly destroying us in any way he can with his numbers.

  3. $7.35m is not the greatest.. but to keep Dunn in Seattle it is alright. 4 yr deal makes this digestible

  4. There isn't a bigger kraken fan than me but 7.35 per is too steep. Love me some Dunner but it's too much.

  5. Dunn did deserve that contract for the season he did but is it the best contract for 4 years we shall see but I believe he can have another 55-65 point season again

  6. Adam is a solid player good signing by Seattle i would pick up both the goalies for back up

  7. The Kraken are already up against the cap huh. That means they're not going to get any better

  8. Agree that the value/interest of the "welcome to the NHL" videos will only increase sharply in say 20 years or so 👍

  9. I wonder if Halak retires would he be considered the best backup goaltender of the salary cap era? His consistency is phenomenal for a goaltender that has played 40 or less games per season.

  10. Winnipeg! Sign Jonathan Toews, Stastny or Pius Suter. All centres you could use!

  11. Imagine if they took Tarasenko instead of Dunn in the expansion draft

  12. It is pretty amazing how players in their 30’s will pretty dramatically hit a drop off in play and production. Will seem to be defying age one season..then you notice ..they aren’t young anymore.

  13. I’m thrilled with the contract for Dunn. It is less term and AAV than I thought. So that’s a big win

  14. As a kraken fan. I'm glad it wasn't 8-9aav was wishing for 7.5aav so I'll take 7.3aav. And I love its a 4 year deal. Good job Ron.

  15. Its ironic that the two players who arguably still have the most upside, Bergeron and Krejci, are the two who will most likely retire

  16. I had hoped for 4 yrs and 6.5 for Dunn. But 4 yrs and 7.35 works and the term is fantastic.
