This is a new mini-series that I’ll be discussing throughout the next few weeks: potential prospects that the Vancouver Canucks may draft in this upcoming draft. In this episode, we’ll be discussing Sweden’s second best defenceman in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, Adam Boqvist, and why I would want him drafted by the Vancouver Canucks if the opportunity presents itself.

I want Boqvist, Hughes or Bouchard. I think Bouchard would fit Vancouver best because he is a right-handed defenseman and is a better passer than Boqvist.

If we grab a mid 1st Round Pick, we might be able to pick Barrett Hayton, another Bo Horvat type Two Way Player. He probably won’t be as good as Bo but it’s something to looks at
I love how LaFreniére is as good as Zadina in his Draft -2 year. Definitely will go first in 2020. If Byfield does good with Sudbury, then it’s gonna be a fun ride

Love Boqvist. A Juolevi-Boqvist top pairing would be amazing. Juolevi reminds me of Alex Edler with more offensive talent, and Boqvist reminds me of Erik Karlsson. Jack Rathbone is insane as well, reminds me of Quinton Hughes tbh.
