Summerside PEI is a small but terrific little hockey community near the west end of the province. This past winter a number of Summerside natives had exceptional seasons. Noah Dobson helped the Acadie-Bathurst Titan capture the Memorial Cup and later was selected by the NY Islanders in the 1st round of the NHL draft. Gerard Gallant lead the Las Vegas Golden Knights expansion franchise to the Stanley Cup finals and was subsequently named NHL Coach of the year.
