I stand by that the Canucks should act like they're having trouble signing Elias Pettersson, be vocal about the difficulties, and then trade the defenseman who shares a name with him without being clear that they're talking about the defenseman and get roughly the center's value.
The Canucks and Sharks should be right where they belong this coming season. At the bottom of the Pacific.

You should do a pre-draft profile on Ivan Demidov, Konsta Helenius, Michael Brandsegg, Cole Eiserman, and of course Macklin Celebrini. The only player on this list that doesn’t stand out to me is Brandsegg, mainly because he was just shy of being in the 2023 draft with a 2005 B-day. I’m really liking Demidov, Celebrini, Eiserman is interesting cause he’s still 16, and will still be 17 come draft day. Helenius also put up 11 points in 33 games in Liigia as a 16 yo.
