Watching that game….I realize how terrible edmontons defence is and edmonton knows only one thing and that's offence and they try to out score there problems
I've been saying for years that Marner is the best Leaf on the ice. Ever since his SICK assist against Carolina in December 2018 (the game the Leafs won 8-1). He reads the ice better than anyone else in the game.
I can see a Tesla or another Fully electric(battery) auto company commercial with Marner just driving around all day and night still buzzing around!…or like a Duracell or Energizer commercial. Or just show Marner highlights and when he goes home to bed he plugs himself into his Tesla Home Charger
I’ll never forget that goal. Most guys panic and are just happy to get a chop at the goalie. Easy save in close. Not Marner. He knows it takes a bit more thought and execution. He’s only getting better. And the grit and physical play is on its way. The best is yet to come from this wizard.
