Sounds like we might have a chance. And is so I’m all for trading carter hart to help with rebuild
Let’s just hope we don’t need this dude because Hart is suspended for involvement in the Team Canada 2018 case. Good to add Fedotov, bad to NEED him.
I would be shocked if the IIHF finds in favor of CSKA. This seems cut-and-dry, assuming that tolling a contract is a process that is recognized as legitimate by the IIHF.
What would not surprise me is if the IIHF recognizes the Flyers deal as legitimate, but the team and player have a conversation about what’s best for him. If Fedotov has had a change of heart for whatever reason, I bet Briere would agree to mutually terminate and ultimately let him sign a “new” deal in the KHL.
I just hope he gets the ability to do what he wants. As a Flyers fan, I don’t care about the outcome anymore.
I fully expect that, if the IIHF finds in the Flyers favor, that the Flyers loan him to his KHL team for the season, his NHL contract expires, and he stays over there.
I’m really not familiar with the iihf, but I can’t understand why they need this much time to make a decision.
