Theodor Niederbach – Season Highlights – 2020/2021
Highlights of Theodor Niederbach playing for Frölunda HC in the SHL, Modo in HockeyAllsvenskan and Team Sweden at the U20 Championship during the 2020-2021 season.
Many thanks!! Theodor still needs some more time in the SHL, he did after all miss an entire year due to injury. A Jonatan Berggren type timeline for him would be what I'd expect. Hopefully Frolunda will give him increasing ice time as his game improves. I'm sure Mr Kronwall is in regular contact with him – he did a good job with Berggren and I'm confident that he can unlock similar potential in Theodor Neiderbach.
He's so insanely smart. I can see why they took him. His physical play will catch up. Might take a few years but when he does get to the NHL level im predicting the second coming of Zetterberg. Just so incredibly smart and see's the game better than anyone else.
Just watched again because why not.. i just get a feeling Theodor is going to turn into the front office's favorite son. They favor him alot. We are so lucky to have a stacked scouting staff and a stacked player development staff. Kronner just retired 2 years ago and is already unlocking potential in Berggren and some other guys. Neiderbach has the IQ no doubt. I don't think people realize how much that makes him a lock for the NHL.

In 3 years the Redwings will be unrecognizable. So many of these kids taken since '19 are going to lite up the joint.
