YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! I was gonna freak out whether the Isles won or lost. As the game went on, I got more and more convinced that they were somehow going to blow it. I was obviously wrong. Domination of the entire game, the whole team showing up, Greiss coming up big when he had to, the entire team was near perfect. I am so happy.
The New York Islanders played amazing hockey against this Tampa team all year. Do I believe that they are a great team? Totally. But I know that this team hits differently no pun intended. We are playing a weakened team of Tampa. Lets go out there and show em some isles hockey. LGI!!!!!!
It was no secret they shouldnโt have beaten mtl… what were we all expecting, luck could only take them so far. I had islander and vgk in the finals anyways. Iโll be following this team
This is what happens when a superior team is told not to lay down. The Isles were by far the better team. They had a commanding 3 games to 1 lead and would have finished this in 5 but the league needed to recoup millions in lost revenue due to this bogus virus. Fortunately, in game 7, both teams were allowed to play to their fullest potential just like in game 1 when the Isles dominated the Flyers in that one too. I see the remaining series' going 7 and hopefully the best team hoist the cup.
Another great series of beasts from the East comes to an end. Congratulations to the Islanders for winning game 7, and ultimately, round 2 of the playoffs. Go Islanders!!! Furthermore, thank you Flyers for an amazing game of Hockey throughout the series. These two teams are truly great. Hockey is the greatest!!! Onward to the Conference Finals!!!
PHILLY looked as the team from the past few seasons…no skating, no determination, just breaking my damn heart once again ๐ ๐ข. They get it next year, cup bound baby!! Hopefully this will come true in my lifetime lol.๐
Charlie, Tavares openly said he would like to stay an islander at the trade deadline of his last season in new york. He said he didn't want to get traded. And then he left for Toronto in free agency, he lied to Isles' fans faces. The Isles could have gone a great return for him if he got traded. Tavares lied to Isles fans and he's getting hated for it by them and rightfully so. It's not about the fact that he left, it's about HOW he left. I would be saying the same thing if he signed for the Habs.
The Flyers deserved to lose,they should NEVER HAVE REMOVED KATE SMITH'S STATUE. WHAT A COWARDLY ACT THAT WILL HAUNT THEM FOREVER. THE CURSE OF KATE SMITH.
Tampa is favorite to win East Finals. In fact, Tampa is favorite to win the cup this season. They came close for several seasons. Now, I think their time finally has come.
The only reason that I think Islanders will have a chance is cause Tampa will have to play some games without both Stamkos and Kucherov. Otherwise, Islanders would have no chance.
Anyway, I'll cheer for Dallas, cause I think Pavelski deserves his first cup in final years of his great career.
