Bratt and Holtz go back years, they’ve been training together since before Holtz was even drafted.

Holtz looks fine, but Bratt is just absolutely ELITE, really cool to see the immediate comp between NHL-average and NHL-elite.

Holtz needs to be a fixture in the lineup this year, excited to see him grow into a star

Man-o-man if Holtz breaks out this year we will have a serious PP1/2 with that big shot looming.

If Holtz is put in a position to succeed this year rather than be set up to fail like he was last year then he will work out. Guys who are as good as him in the AHL at that age really just don’t fail. I think the talent is just too good to fail if he’s put in a position to succeed. He’s also just not a guy whose work ethic I doubt in the slightest. The guy works his ass off to get better. I have a hard time believing he can’t get you at the minimum good 3rd line production if he’s on the 3rd line with Palat and Haula.
