crazy trade
Kent Hughes sacrificed 800 thousand in cap space for a 2025 2nd round draft pick which is projected to be a top draft year and Nathan Légaré who is a little warrior with talent. Légaré will follow in Gallagher's footsteps and we'll see where his path takes him. We now know that Sam Poulin was offered and MTL preferred Legaré. If Kent Hughes succeeds in flipping Petry, he will have recovered 3,800,000 of cap space and obtained a very good pick and Légaré. Not bad for a few days work.
PS: We need Petry on the team like we need a hangover. I see nothing positive about a 35yo taking ice time from a young gunn.
