Tom Wilson has signed a 7 year extension with the Washington Capitals for $45.5 million. This averages out to about $6.5 million per season. This is a fantastic deal for the Capitals and Wilson. Wilson is one of the Capitals most important players. He is a complete player who could play many roles for the Caps. Now that he is healthy again, I think Tom Wilson will play to his full potential and will help the Washington Capitals to make the Stanley Cup Playoffs again.
