They got worse over the off-season. … They signed Oliver Ekman-Larsson, of course they got worse. And it wasn't a problem of who he was up against. He injured his foot and his skating speed is sub-NHL. That's not going to get better just because he's on the second pair, BECAUSE HE WAS SECOND PAIR WITH THE CANUCKS LAST SEASON!!!!!
The Canucks actually got better when OEL was injured and on LTIR. That's how bad OEL was last year.
