  1. Gagner will hopefully always have a home here. If he comes back this year i think he could be a solid 4th liner and a nice mentor for our young guys in bakersfield. There has been some rumors that once he retires he could join management as a player development guy

  2. Gagner was one of their best players in the era when the Oilers were super trash, imagine him on the team now, if he still played like he was young. Would be badass

  3. Gagner on PTO seems like the best way to reunite with his former team 1 more time although other teams probably want to give Gagner more money if a contract is up for grabs, My PTO Choice would be Danton Heinen

  4. We need to do it, if only to give Gags a taste of playoff hockey in Edmonton. He's lamented before how he never got to experience that, and he deserves that experience tbh.

  5. I think you called it, Gags will have to compete against Sutter for that spot and thats good, let them grind it out and earn it.

  6. Ain’t no way Brad Malone is more worthy of that 4th line spot over Gagner.

  7. I was hoping this would be about the Oilers bringing back Nail Yakapov for one game so he could retire as an Oiler. 🙂

    (Shut up. I'm just joking)

  8. I remember when we traded for him in 2019, he changed all of his social media profiles/pictures to him in Oilers sweaters within 10 minutes of the announcement. Dude loved playing here and I was sad when we moved him to Detroit. Would love to have him in as a 4th line guy so he can experience an era of oilers hockey that isn't pure depression.

  9. I actually love how much you cover the Oilers even though you are a Flames fan. It is especially nice for me cause I was born in Calgary and started off a Flames fan but moved to the Edmonton area and became an Oilers fan.

  10. As a Jets fan I would love to see Sam back in Edmonton and finish his career there, great guy and still a serviceable 4th liner.
