Yup, 100%. Milbury somehow managed to look like the biggest dumbest asshole in the whole thing

If you think E is a good director after what he did with the train wreck of Medellín!

I listen to the podcast ‘Swindled’, they had an episode on it. It was really good, I’d imagine this would be too.

Yes, it’s a great doc. Shows some the history of the Islanders as well which is sweet.

Of Miracles and Men is also a killer doc. too from 30 for 30 of the Russian side of the 1980 miracles.

  5. Oax5wind

Yes, as is the other 30 for 30 doc about Gretzky

  6. Yeah definitely if you’re a hockey fan you’ll find it interesting I’m sure

  7. _Tranquil_Dude

    Yes.

Spano is a crook, and this does a great job of showcasing it.

Honestly watch every 30 for 30 documentary. There are only a handful of them that I didn’t enjoy. The majority of them are fantastic, and even if the subject matter doesn’t sound interesting, watch it anyways because it’s most likely good even if you have no prior interest in the subject that it’s about.

I’m interested, I bet it would be

I watched it. I really enjoyed it. One of those stories that sounds too crazy to be true.

Yes, if only to demonstrate that the league is a joke at all levels.

    Best sport, worst league.

It’s worth a watch for sure. Not the best doc ever made, but it’s a Pretty crazy story

If this is interesting to you, Mike Milbury did an interview with spitting chiclets a couple months back where he dives into all his disastrous decisions that were made by him and around him during this time with the islanders
