j t is a huge part of this team and let's face it, american players are leaving canadian teams in droves. he wants to be here and that should be appreciated.
The Canuckleheads definitely need more players who play with passion and want to be in Vancouver. A Team Captain shouldn't be a politically correct milk toast player who just mouths the right words from the PR department. I think JT would make a great Captain and keep things interesting.
Woah slow down there Matt the leafs are Not loveable losers outside the TO market they are just a symptom of the east west divide at this point.
I’ve defended JT since day 1 and will continue to do so. He’s hard working, he’s emotional and wants to win more than anything. He takes the most media heat of anyone by far and is known to own up to his wrong doings. He’s literally the typical Canadian and people hate him for it (I know he’s American)
