So basically the message is when the games get tougher stand up and be counted. Would be nice for someone in that so called core to do this. Haven’t seen it out of anyone.
This team needs a "leader" and so far guys like Scheifele, and Connor, and
Ehlers, don't want to take the team on their back and carry it. When they get
scored on first, they deflate, and that says something about their character.
I hope the new addition of Nino can be a spark and get them going. They seem
to be going backwards the last 12 games, and getting next to zero scoring from
their depth lines. They need a couple depth pieces for the 3rd and 4th lines.
More than anything tho, they need to get their confidence back.
I think after the all star break each year, they need to have Tony robbins come in and do a motivational talk. It's like clockwork that they go on the skids at this time of year and they need to figure out why. In the last game, I saw Ehlrers step up and just start shooting like he'd had enough. Hw didn't connect, but he made the effort and it energized to rest of them. No result, but it's a start.
Yes I agree the Jets have been shooting and want to make a perfect pass or shot. The last few games look at shot o net its been low
