  1. The hit itself didn't look dirty, just the timing, so I'm wondering what the injury was. Collar bone or shoulder maybe?

  2. So is farabee just turning into marchand 2.0? Cuz that's what I've been getting from him lately šŸ˜‚

  3. Well next time jets and flyers meet I can guarantee Adam Lowry will have some haymakers waiting for the rookie who tries to injure his vet teammates.

  4. Deservedly so a suspension. But if refs called the initial cross check on his lower back that sent him flying he might not have sought revenge . TSN barely shows the initial cross check. Watch the player safety video.

  5. Its funny. There was a time when every hockey fan that saw this hit wouldn't even have a problem with it. Most would have said "keep your head up" , or on a swivel. How times have changed…

  6. Stupid, stupid hit. Heā€™s had one fight and now throws hits like this.. benched or suspension to get his head right and his feet back on the ground.

  7. These media outlets and the league continue to show their ineptitude to handle player safety. The moment at which this video begins is laughable. What Sportsnet doesn't want you to see is that Farabee takes a nasty cross-check from behind, gets up, sees there was no call, and takes matters into his owns hands. Obviously, he shouldn't be out to hurt players, but I ask, "where is the player safety for Farabee?" NHL is notorious for NON-CALLS. It is and has been a major problem. NHL officials continue to ignore penalties and selectively choose when to call them.
Watch the official NHL suspension verdict video. They show the cross-check and comically refer to it as, "knocked to the ice as he battles in front of the net"
And no, I give zero-Fs about the Flyers or Farabee. I do hope he calls league officials by what they are in his hearing—hypocrites.

  8. I'm getting under 2 seconds since he passed the puck with his head looking behind his body… What do you consider long time after and late? Looked like a great shoulder to chest hit after a dangerous pass.

  9. Terrible call. The passer put himself in a dangerous position. The hitter let up and made shoulder to chest contact within 2 seconds.

  10. Those are the kind of hits i do in my NHL20 Franchise with the interference slider turned almost to 0…Guess Farabee likes the same settings i do.

  11. Clip doesn't show Farabee getting cross checked a couple seconds before, which is probably what provoked him to to retaliate with this hit. It's a little bit weird that this clip starts right after the cross check.

  12. Farabee's hit was a full 2 seconds late which is certainly dangerous, but Perrault shouldn't have watched his back pass. Keep your head up and protect yourself first kids!

  13. Unnecessary to plant a hit like that in the offensive zone that far behind the play right in front of the official. He probably shouldā€™ve been more concerned with backchecking

  14. Late hit. No doubt. But a clean one – just got the timing off. What was the reason for the 3-game suspension? Does the NHL's department of player safety feel that there was intent to inure? Does Farabee have a history? If not, one has to worry about the trend hockey is taking. Regular season games are often boring. No hitting. Everyone backing off. It's nice that everyone respects each other…I guess. It was more fun when they hated each other once in a while…

  15. Was it a late hit? Yes. Was it interference? Yes. Was it dirty? No. That guy shouldn't of been admiring his pass so long. He became oblivious to everything around him.
