I’d like to know what Chris is wanting.
Listen, obviously there is still negotiating going on as neither side has come forward voicing hard numbers yet. Jones doesn't seem to be harboring a bad attitude either. So it's hard to say exactly what the hang up is. Could be total dollars, or guaranteed moneys or he wants his own office, who knows exactly at this point. My gut tells me he gets signed at some point. KC needs him more than they need to save the cap space. But Veach has also shown he is not going to pay over what he feels he's worth to the team. I mean Tyreek got traded and people lost their minds, yet this organization put it together, wasn't pretty at times, and won a Super Bowl. And Tyreek got to watch his former team get another ring without him. So, if it so happens Jones gets traded, I have confidence they can still get it done. Spags is lightning in a bottle with the defense. That guy has done more with less than any other coach, year in and year out. Believe.

I have thought this for a while. Chris jones said he left lots of money on the table and so did mahomes . He wanted to bring frank Clark. Once they didn't bring him back and just didn't use the money, I believe he is now saying since you did nothing with the money I left for us to get some more players well then give me what i was sapposed to get.

I think the Chiefs are taking the lead in the NFL in telling these players they are asking for too much money!!! Just look at some of these teams in the NFL that have given in to high dollar demands, only to be financially restricted in bringing in quality players in other positions. Chris Jones is not a loyal Chief and needs to be treated as such. He has to honor his contract this year and play it out. Next year the Chiefs can tag him. He will be two years older and will be past his prime when he goes free agent.

I want the Chiefs to sue Chris Jones for nonperformance of contract. He has already damaged the Chief's hopes to repeat this year. The damage done can't be repaired. I think Jones should pay the Chiiefs about $200 million dollars for said damage that has already been done to the team. Jones has to go but he is going to have to pay for what he has done to our season. Jones is no longer going to be able to play on this team he is not a leader, his career as a Chief is over, if you don't understand Clark Hunt won't tolerate this kind of behavior, well, you don't know Clark. I hope Jones ends up in the poor house for his actions. It's time for lawyers to deal with Mr. Jones in a very nasty way. They file a suit and Jones will show up, but make no mistake after this year he is gone. I would also strip him of any name on the stadium or other honors he may have had coming. He only has 2 or maybe 3 good seasons left anyway. In any event, I would take his precious money and leave him bankrupt. The time to file a lawsuit in now before he shows up to play. When he moves on this lawsuit would tarnish his reputation forever and that is exactly what the no-good sob has coming.

Chris has overplayed his hands. This acting like a diva with the whining and cryptic tweets is wearing thin to the point where many people that were in his corner are now getting sick of him. The Chiefs need to start looking around for a good trade and whatever happens happens.
