hate to see the prime of Kaprizov wasted but that’s what these next two seasons are until the Parise and suter buyouts are gone. great prospect core though (arguably top 5) and this team is in a unique situation where they can trade some late picks to at least have some hope of winning a cup, even if it’s really unlikely. unfortunately guerin has shown no interest in being competitive right away (and I don’t really blame him, this team will be good in the future)
