and Bowman gave up BIG draft capital for him. If that wasnt bad enough, he has a giant LONG TERM contract. Maybe with a better defensive team around him, he will be better. MAYBE.
Seth Jones is 100% a top 30-35 d man. I just think his contract is the problem here, imo he is 1.5 million overpaid. He makes almost the same as Nurse and he is so much better. If Jones was with the Oilers he's number's would be crazy. I don't like the contract and he is not a true number 1 d man but he is not getting nearly enough respect for his ability
He hasn't been as bad as all that.
