The thing to me about bare knuckle fighting is that the whole reason gloves are worn is because the hands are vulnerable and generally you can't put out full power but when you let guys turn their hands into bricks then losing teeth is going to be a problem. No one wants that and if you can't wrap your hands its far less likely to happen. If you are going to protect your hands then just use gloves.
