Saw this the other day. Trevor Moore is our local kid. Thousand Oaks doesn’t have a roller rink but neighboring Moorpark does. Let’s ask the city to dedicate the rink in his honor.
A name like “Trevor Moore’s Moorpark Center for More Hockey” is so incredibly silly, it just has to happen.

Bro used to be called the Easy Street Arena.
They already had a sick name and then chose to ruin it.
If this does end up happening, I’m going to find a parking lot nearby and impose squatter’s laws to start my own park. I’ll call it “Fake Trever Moore’s Moorepark Fake Center for More Fake Hockey” and charge $12 to get in.

Damn, I grew up playing on that rink as a kid. I’m pretty sure they haven’t been playing any type of league or games on there in years, but would be awesome if they re-named it and it renewed interest in roller hockey in that town.
There is also a roller rink in Calabasas area that had leagues going up until a few years ago that is probably just as close as Moorpark.
Thousand Oaks used to have an indoor rink called Roller Dome. Closed down many years ago. Got replaced with a dollar store sadly
I heard Trevor Moore is a Thousand Oaks native! Thousand Oaks isn’t Moorpark, what’s up with that? Is he really from Moorpark? Or are we going hard with the alliteration?
Anyone remember the Tri-Valley Roller Hockey league played on the basketball courts at Agoura HS? Early 90’s.
