I don’t think this is going to surprise anyone here. Even with the impossibility of the task, it was certainly a choice that was made.

Well… ok. I like JK, but boy, did Panger raise the collective ranking of our TV crew.

Blech, so boring. Really grateful for Kerbs and Joey V … just have to improve my video/audio synching skills.

Well shit. This season gonna be even worse than previously thought

Do we even know how we’re supposed to be watching the games yet? Is it Bally again, are they still in business? I’m so confused these days…

I don’t have any problem with Rivers. He’s incredibly friendly in person and I’ve loved his podcasts (although, both of those things have gotten less true as he’s progressed through his media career).

But I’m truly disappointed that it didn’t go to Vitale. There’s no way John Kelly could be as good a partner for him as Kerber, but Vitale’s awesome.

Almost anyone would’ve been a downgrade from Panger. Figuratively, big shoes to fill. Not sure Rivers is the right guy. He’s convenient and probably the right price for a struggling regional sports network.

Rivers is a solid analyst, and I’m sure he will do a fine job because he’s smart and honest. Change is tough, and Blues fans have been lucky with announcers going back a long time. Jamie will grow into the role and be an asset to the broadcast.
