He reminds of Ryan Graves, a guy who spends his time in HFD and never plays for us.
Haven't really watched much of his play. But hope with his size he gets a good chance this year. Only thing that sucks is that he is left side and on their youngsters on that side I also like Jones.
I think this guy is the 2nd coming of Micheal Sour. The hockey guys gave him to make up for losing Sour all those years ago to concussion. He was on his way to being a fantastic D-Man and this guy really reminds me of him. Also it has been a very long time since we had a real physical D-man that was willing to drop the gloves. All the years with Henrik we didn’t have that kinda guy.
Prototypical low event 3rd pair d'man … I honestly thought he would already be in the NHL in a 6/7 d' role by now, especially after seeing him in his early NYR training camps … but management has found a way to keep on blocking the left side, whether it's Jones or Robertson. Upside is as a #4, but I think that would require a special situation to occur.
