Kent Hughes hasn't made many mistakes since becoming GM. Signing Jake Allen to an early 2 year extension at $3.85 million annually is certainly one of them.

Bryson in Buffalo is way out… when you factor in, Dahlin, Samualsson, Power, E. Johnson, Clifton, Lybushkin…. then you have Stillman and Jokiharu… Bryson might be #9 on the list… and with the Ryan Johnson signing.. He might even fall from there… no, he’s beyond the odd man out.. he’s quite a bit of ways out.
The money is about equal for Pageau and DeBrusk, but DeBrusk gives the Bruins a skill set they would miss if he was traded out. Closing one hole and opening another doesn’t make sense to me as a Bruins fan. I do see that the Isles need a scoring wing, but I don’t see a match with Boston.
Bruins have plenty of 3rd line centers. They will wait till next year unless talks with DeBrusk falters.

yeah trade desmith. use a 3rd and if necessry a forth to get arizona to taje armis. or even lindstrom and armia for some russain unsigned prospect. then they'd have capspace without ltir and be in great shape once price goes on ltir. then ready for one more maor trade at the deadline

Why is everyone so obsessed with trading debrusk DONT trade jake he’s part of the new foundation for the forwards in Boston just play out the season and then sign and tweak the team next off season ! Don’t think pageau is that good would never trade him for debrusk Jake is way better player in my opinion and younger please don don’t give away good young talent for a center that isn’t that great
