I chose him over Dermott on my NHL 21 team. I did like Dermott with Bogosian though because he was a right handed and physical. Perfect match for Dermott. Liljegren and Sandin are the new BOGO and Dermo.
Yes, Liljegren over Dermott. He plays heavier and looks more calm and poised with the puck. Dermott is too indecisive and jittery, also he has trouble boxing-out net front and winning 50/50 board battles. Liljegren looks like he's put on some man-strength
I've been happy with Liljegrens game this preseason. He looks good out there and I feel more comfortable with him over Dermott.. That shot block Lilly had at the end of the last preseason game was hats off. Also love Lilly's outbreak passes. Agree with what you said to, him and sand man are comfortable together!!
I really like Liljegren, but I think he needs to return to the Marlies for one reason. he needs to spend heavy minutes and lead the power play. Leafs don't have confidence in him on the power play yet. He will be coming back to the leafs this year. Starting with the Marlies will get him more prepared. Defensively he may be in the top 4 right now, but his powerplay needs work.
Bro please please watch and see if you ever see Reilly, Muzz, TJ ever complete a break out pass and the answer is they can't and so this town blaames Marner. Sandin aand Lillijgren are ttape to tape passing machines. Already better than Reilly. Btw Tavares is the most selfish player and cannot aand will not pass and tries but fails everytime he tries to deke anyone out. He is the worst contract on the books. Lilegren kinda reminds me of Adam Larson with maybe a little more offence with his game he’s very poised with and without the puck and doesn’t make many mistakes

Reilly-TJ -we know what to expect here Muzzin-Sandin -a poised, skilled & smallish D-man with a physical vet Lilligren-Mennell -both display poise and sound hockey IQ
