The Avs must keep Toews. Absolutely a stud with Makar. I love Sammy G but trade that dude to make room for Toews
after Montour and Ekblad back in lineup, Florida could try Eckmann Larsen at center position
Avs should sign Toews, Francouz, and Drouin and let go of everyone else that needs contracts.
I was thinking a swap of Hanafin and Toews would be excellent
I just want to comment about all the talk about the job Stevie Y is doing as the Red Wing GM. A particular writer I think over did themselves making a fuss about the Petry trade. The trade was made because Edvinson is not going to be ready to play until about November or so. Yzerman has signed older defensemen in his time as the Wings GM. As for having too many defensemen and possibly blocking young prospects. Players get injured. Being able to play seven defensemen may be a good idea if scoring goals becomes a problem at certain point in the season. If a young player is ready, Yzerman will play him on the Red Wings.
