This Should’ve Never Happened in The NHL.

In this video, we take a look at what was widely considered the worst choke job in NHL Hockey history. In a series between the Boston Bruins & The Florida Panthers, we witnessed one of the wildest playoff series’ in recent memory…

  1. Glad everyone forgot that the bruins "suspiciously got a stomach bug" that was passed around the team the week of the playoffs starts….

There are no true coincidences! Playoffs are rigged

  2. I have seen many series where a team actually plays worse when their star player returns from injury. All of his teammates are subconsciously thinking "We don't have to work as hard now, because we've got the big guy back". Conversely, sometimes teams actually play better when the star player is injured, thinking "Now we've got to work twice as hard to have a chance without him".

In hockey, a clearly harder-working team will usually beat a more skilled team.

  3. I was at all 3 games in Florida for that series. That game 6 was one of the most loud and exciting games I have ever been to. Games 3 and 4 had tons of Bruins fans but strangely game 6 was a whole lot more red.

  4. another great video. the turning point imo was definitely the tkachuk ot goal. also do you think you could do a video about the rangers?

  5. The panthers had a season filled with Injuries. This past season's Panthers team weren't actually that far away from the team that won the president's trophy the year before.

  6. That's what they get for getting presidents, losing finally to Coyotes, and made their first loss to the Kraken (On their home ice) That's when I saw the cracks.

  7. If u watched any of the panthers vs bruins games this yr u would of seen this coming. The panther had the bruins number somehow and when they lost tht last game of the yr to end up playing the bruins in the first round was the worst thing tht could of happened for Boston. If u look strictly at the numbers yes it was the biggest upset. If u take a deep look into the regular season games tht yr the panthers had more of a chance than anyone to knock off the bruins.

  8. As a guy rooting for the bruins, this isn't how it is supposed to work. It is the playoffs where anything can happen. Regular season stuff does not compare to playoff stuff as much. Ask the 2019 bolts or the 2012 canucks or the 2010 caps or 2006 red wings

  9. Great video. Officiating should be a part of this video. The playoffs are officiated drastically different than the regular season. That imo is why there is a history of losses like this in the NHL

    *choke* 😆

  10. You may like to mention that the Panthers had the best regular season record in the NHL the season before this . They're a good team. The regular season is a long exhibition season for the most part , however I believe if Chicago did not upset Pittsburg on the last day of the season ,Florida would not have got in to the play offs and on to the finals.
It seems I remember Toronto having a 4-0 lead in the third period of game 7 and choked to the Bruins. That's a pretty sever choke!

  11. Ullmark is a super average goalie. He isn't one who will make those huge saves when the pressure is on. Also, calling this a choke is cringe. The panthers just outplayed the Bruins in the last 3 games.

  12. So much people forgot how good the panthers were last year and mostly this year

  13. This series is why I love the best of 7 playoff format over footballs 1 and done. You get to see the best and worst out of a team as they battle out over 7 games.

  14. My LA Kings were the lowest seed ever to win the Stanley Cup in 2012 🥳 Playoff hockey ia all about tight checking, grinding in the corners and riding a hot goalie.

  15. Feels like the 80s and 90s all over again bruins constantly breaking your heart

  16. ummmm hockey is the sport were u see the worse team win the most thats why kazakhstan can beat canada ….. if this is happening in any of the 4 major sports leagues its happening in the nhl their has been large long studies and hockey is the sport were the lesser team has a better chance of winning out of the 4 by far

  17. Believe it or not I called the Bruins to go out in the 1st round…I wish I would have bet 100 dollars on the Panthers

  18. Reminds me of the fleury give away in the playoff vs Montreal a few years back absolutely brutal and ruined what momentum they had left

  19. Nothing will ever top the Bruins blowing a 3-0 series lead to the Flyers and then blowing a 3-0 lead in game seven to lose the series.

  20. This is not the Bruins 1st choke. 2010 reverse sweep, 2 goals in 44 seconds in 2015, Bergy being dominated by Ryan O"Reilly in 2019, and finally this years choke. This was not a surprise.

  21. Are we doing a little Sb nation/secret base rewind type video? Lol I like it

  22. This is what I don't like about American Sports.
Makes the Regular season seem pointless.
I'm from the UK and our sports work by, League winner highest points total, is crowned champion and is the most sought after thing, because most games, consistency!!!
Then there is a separate knockout tournament, like the F.A cup but people don't care about it as much.
It's like American/Canadian sports have got it backwards, people don't remember President's trophy winners, even though it's a way more impressive feat.
