    I want Matheson to stay I feel like when Montreal makes a playoff push he’s gonna be a vital part to the team a D-man that can put up points in the playoffs something that Montreal needed in there 2020-2021 playoff run I wouldn’t trade him especially since he can skate very well and play very good defence IMO

    Matheson a big stay. He can move the puck but most importantly he can move in general. Smart guy to learn from.

    rehabbing mismanaged players who aren't old and have proven elite skill, has to be the most under exploited asset rebuilding teams have. Instead of continuing to push ice-time and road trips on them, hoping they will have added value from being at the end of a contract; they should design their terms of agreement around the 2 seasons it'll take to focus on off ice work.

    if Montreal let Matison go that would be a very stupid move. Not going to happen. number 1 prospects does not garanty sucess.We seen that with Edmondton and other teams also.But who knows the plans of the MTL admin???

    number 72 is now needing an operation 🙁 🙁 might not be the same after this operation and that was a big influence on the ice. Now his drop the glove career might limit his chances?

    Hughes should not trade anyone other than Dadonov and Hoffman (if anyone wants to take them). He'll get fleeced again like he did last year on Toffoli and Lehkonen. Just stick with what we have, and hope that we can go through next season without half our team out injured every night.

    Between Matheson's skills and being one of the players that wants to be in Montreal, he's in there with Anderson where it would take "an offer too good to refuse"…I see it as unlikely with his injury history and other current injuries.
