So I was talking to my wife the other day and interested in opinions about this.
This is in regards to the the jet from the air show that crashed into an apartment building’s parking lot. The videos show that the pilot ejected and then about 4 seconds later you finally see the crash and smoke. This seems to me the jet was just going to go anywhere it wanted during that time – and LUCKILY did not crash into the apartment building. I said, if the pilot still was able to control the jet it is his responsibility to put that jet into the ground as far away from people as possible, so ejecting and hoping it does not hit anything is unacceptable.
My wife said he did what human nature does and saved himself. Again, I have no idea what happened to the jet, but I said that would be unacceptable to do. And if the jet did hit the apartment building and created a massive amount of casualties, how could you even live with yourself knowing you ejected when you could have steered the jet somewhere less occupied.
Just curious on thoughts around this. I cannot say what I would do in that position because in my scenario I absolutely die and my family goes on without me. In my wife’s scenario I would live, but what if instead of a parking lot I actually hit the building? Then what……
My Spotify app crashes so often on my mac it cant be a coincidence. Gotta be apple subtly downregulating competition. Every few months i have to delete and re-add the app
I’ve stared at this for five hours now.
I’ve become pretty certain that the Red Wings will be a solid playoff team this season.
They’ve made so many moves to improve the team this off-season that I don’t think many people are able to see the whole picture yet. It’s too much information to process at once.
They have quietly become a Vegas/Seattle type team that may not have superstar talent at the top end, but is chock full of second line caliber players on both offense and defense. They will be running a top line, and three second lines on offense. And a top pair and two legit second pairs on defense.
To me the only ? Remaining is how the goalies hold up as the season goes on
